These studies combine the two professions of constructional engineering and architecture into one training course. This three or four-year part-time study course is unique in Europe in this combination. Studies including practical work can also be followed in a three or four-year course.
Advanced Training
MAS in sustainable construction
The MAS in sustainable construction is a cooperative offer from Swiss universities. The studies are made up of the basic course "Construction and Energy", three major courses and a diploma thesis. All courses are part-time, i.e. career accompanying. The complete one-year course takes around 40 weeks. Different locations and course dates allow for maximum flexibility.
Applied Research & Development
The Institute for Construction and Design specialises in application-oriented research and services and has twelve employees. Competency fields are construction projects in the field of tourism (vision, conception and implementation), projects for maintenance and appreciation of value of constructional cultural assets as well as the development of architectural and engineering construction models.
