Bachelor and Master Studies in information science
Bachelor of Science
Information science studies can be followed full or part-time in Chur but only part-time in Zurich. Students decide themselves on the speed and length of the study programme. They create their own study plan from the lectures on offer. In this way, they each carry responsibility for the length of their studies.
Master of Science
Master studies in information science provide additional knowledge and will be available from 2010.
Advanced Training
MAS in Information Science
The Master of Advanced Studies in information science has existed as NDS Information and Documentation since 1992 and offers students the necessary knowledge to handle the strongly increasing flood of information in a professional manner.
Applied Research & Development
It is the intention of the competence field of information science to use research projects regarding current developments and topics of information of information science to continually create and expand new know-how and skills.
The Swiss Institute for Information Science, SII, concentrates on research in four centres of competence:
- Record management
- Information Laboratory
- Library Consulting
- Competitive Intelligence and Information Management
