BSc and MSc in Tourism Program
The bachelor study course of Tourism is the first international study course at a University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland that is specifically designed to meet the needs of the tourism industry. The study course, held in German and English, imparts all the necessary knowledge and expertise about tourism, leisure and the service industry. Further studies
A further education programme for managers with focus on tourism is available for people who have gained several years professional experience in the field. At this second level, the Master of Advanced Studies level, there are three modules on offer, Tourism Marketing, Tourism Industries and Tourism Economy.

Institute for Tourism and Leisure Research
The Institute for Tourism and Leisure Research (Institut für Tourismus- und Freizeitforschung ITF) is the competence centre for tourism and leisure at the University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft HTW Chur). For over a decade, it has been working in the field of applied and practice-oriented research for tourism and recreation projects.
