SME Center
The SME Center is one sector of the SIFE. It serves as a contact point for regional enterprises in regards to start-up, knowledge and technology transfer and also as a venue for events and networking.
The SME Center operates an Info-Line (Phone +41 (0)81 286 24 14).
As part of a preliminary consultation, it offers business consulting and advice for SMEs and start-ups. After an initial problem diagnosis and search for solutions, the appropriate experts are called upon for further assistance. We advise microenterprises and put together marketing and communication concepts for SMEs.
The SME Center, being the regional hub for knowledge and technology transfer, maintains a relationship network to various other universities in Switzerland and abroad, to national and European research institutes and government support agencies.
The regional SMEs attain access to this entire network. The SME Center also serves as the consultation center and contact point for SMEs who want to realize an innovative project with the help of the Federal Commission for Technology and Innovation KTI.
The SME Center also organizes regional forums and events. This is to foster active networking between the representatives of the scientific and business world, thus facilitating cooperation initiation. This networking is a key component of the direct knowledge and technology transfer between the local enterprises.
